Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG I keep hoping to find on mobile and rarely do. It has an actual story worth following, a party you grow attached to, and turn-based combat that respects your time without dumbing itself down. Battles run quick, but positioning and skill order matter more than raw grinding.

The writing carries it. Companions bicker, remember what you said, and occasionally refuse to shut up during a serious moment, which somehow made me like them more. The world is drawn in a soft painted style that holds up well on a small screen.

My one complaint is the inventory menu, which is fiddlier than it needs to be. Otherwise this is a generous, complete-feeling adventure that doesn't hound you between chapters.
